How does your media product represent particular social groups?
To answer this question, we as a group decided that a podcast would be appropriate. We decided that we would all talk about the social group that we had the most involvement in, which is why Abbie is covering the geeks, Naomi is covering the Goths, Amy is covering the Weird kids and I am covering the Popular girls and the Jocks. We decided to do it this way because we are all very aware of what we did to represent each group that we had a lot of involvement in. By doing each group seperately we all have more time to thoroughly take you though each thing that we decided to do to represent each group as stereotypically as we could.
As a group at the beginning of our evaluation process we planned out what we wanted to include in each question. This meant that we would all have involvement in each question and it made it easier when it came to writing singular evaluation questions.
