Casting;

Our idea for the jock characters was to have a very stereotypical 'lad'. This meant that the character would need to be quite tall, physically fit and visually appealing, out of all the boys that were willing to be filmed we decided that these 5 fitted our criteria the most.

With the group of popular girls we decided that we wanted very over the top, thin, visually appealing and tall girls. We wanted a range of heights and hair colours when it came to these girls, this is because we wanted to focus more on beauty rather than anything else. All of these girls that have been chosen are very fashionable, beautiful and look as if people would aspire to be like them based on their appearence.

The goths are going to follow their massive stereotype, this will include them wearing dark clothing, being quite pale, have unusual coloured hair and looking quite strange. Each of the people that we have chosen fit quite well into these traits, or have the potential to be made into a person with these traits using make up.

The nerds again are going to be very stereotypical, for this character we looked for people that already have some of the traits. For example having freckles, wearing glasses or having a large backpack. This will make it easier when it comes to having props or using make up as we feel this is the clique that would need to most work and attention when it comes to these things.

The cast for the weird kids are people that have quirkey things about them already that we could use to our advantage, for example having big curly hair, having dimples or being quite tall. This adds to the fact that the group is different and stand out a bit more.
