Seafret are an English duo made up of 2 amazing young artists; Jack Sedman and Harry Draper. The first album they released was in 2016 on January 26th, this makes them a very new band. The music is very mellow indie and consists of various different tracks with deep meaning. The band were signed to the media conglomerate Columbia records who's parent company is Sony Music, this means the band has a large amount of credibility in the music industry. Seafret has been able to distribute their music over various music platforms such as Spotify and ITunes making them an easily recognisable band.

We decided to choose seafret as our band because we feel they have a very rustic and raw vibe which we could really use to our advantage in our production process. Our plans are to create a narrative based around a breaking down relationship, we feel as if this would be synchronous to the lyrics in our chosen song Atlantis.
